(Washington, DC) — The U.S. stands ready to help Russia after a lab worker died following possible exposure to plague. That’s the word from President Trump after Russian officials initially said a woman at an anti-plague research institute died from an unspecified form of the disease. They later said the woman died from pneumonia. Some reports said nearly 200 people had been quarantined due to possible exposure. Asked about the situation on Monday, Trump told reporters “we’re looking at it very strongly.”
