Hurricane Isaias [[ ee-sy-EE-us ]] has made landfall. The eye of the Category 2 storm is crossing the coastline of the western Florida Panhandle. Parts of the region are under a flash flood emergency as severe winds gusts, storm surge and heavy rain lash the coast. The storm is packing maximum sustained winds of 105 miles-per-hour. Hundreds of thousands are without power across Florida and Alabama.
