(SRN NEWS)-The lawsuit accuses the Palo Alto Unified School District of sending high school students on a field trip to a local mosque where they were given Korans and hijabs and encouraged to participate in Muslim religious rituals. It’s all part of the schools’ Social Justice Pathway program, but the only trip to a religious institution was to the mosque. Amongst the parents filing suit are Jews, Hindus and Zoroastrians. School officials say they are reviewing their practices.
